Oh man. I can't believe I've never submitted any Hamtaro fanart here. It was... like... my THING. I friggin' LOVED Hamtaro. And thanks to my little sister, I'm slowly getting re-obsessed. Even though I'm an adult. And the show was made for little kids. I CARE NOT. I STILL THINK IT'S KIND OF HILARIOUS. <3
Anyway, on to the dump.
1.) Hamtaro. I'm pleased with how he looks in my style. When I was young, I used to try to draw them in their original style. Let's just say that I sucked at that. I vastly prefer my own style.
2.) ...I swear. The only shipping war I'll ever actually get involved in, in ANY fandom, is HamtaroxBijou vs. BossxBijou. Seriously... BossxBijou all the way. It makes more sense. It just... DOES. Besides. Boss is awesome. Very incredibly awesome.
3.) The TWIIIIINS. I like twins. A lot. Almost to the point of obsession. So obviously, I like Sandy and Stan. Particuarly Stan, considering he falls into one of my favorite character archetypes (namely, "Stupid Ladies Man").
4.) But my favorite characters have always been Howdy and Dexter. What can I say? I adore stupid rivalries. I like to think of Howdy as a stupid redneck high-school bully, and Dexter as the nerd he constantly gives wedgies to/stuffs in lockers. It's beautiful. ...Also, Dexter gets bonus points for essentially being Chatot in hamster form. ALSO. His voice is Edd's from Ed Edd and Eddy. WHY DID I NEVER NOTICE THAT WHEN I WAS YOUNGER?
5.) Pashmina and Penelope are friggin adorable. I'm of the belief that they are actually sisters. :3
6.) ...Oh man. That fanfic I linked to in my recent poll. It had the most awesome hardcore incarnation of Howdy EVER. He had KNIVES, man! It would have been sexy if he hadn't been killed off via a bullet to the head three chapters in. XD
7.) FFFFFF. There was an episode where Dexter made glasses for everyone. And Boss's glasses were the sexiest glasses I've ever seen. So I had to draw him in his pimpin' shades.
8.) Ohman. What to say about this? I decided to draw my favorite line from my favorite scene from my favorite episode. Just watch 7:07-8:23 of this video: [link] It makes me giggle insanely. Mostly because Dexter wanted to play the "mommy". He walked right into that one. X3
...Howdy's pose came off WAAAAAAY more seductive than I originally planned. Which only adds to the hilarity.

Cute, but if that part with Dexter and Howdy taking care of Penelope is based off of episode 34, she said "Ookyoo" in that one. She didn't start saying "Ookwee" until episode 38. Even Hamtaro noticed the change - Hamtaro: "Did you just say ookwee?"
